baby it's cold outside
Jan. 19th, 2005 04:46 pmAnd inside.
I don't like 2005 so far. So many bad things have happened.
To start with we were defrauded over new year by our first non-payers. Then our ceiling fell down. In the gales we lost a tree; the hen house; some fence posts; some roof slates; £200 of frozen food; two outdoor lights and two old chimney pots used as planters. Plus we had no power for almost five days and lost two bookings as a result.
And my poor daughter, the earwig, has spent most of the last three months being sick and the doctors have decided it's anxiety related. As I am mad as a teapot myself and a seething mass of complexes and neuroses I naturally feel it is all my fault. And worse, that this is the start of her life being blighted and I can't bear to think of her going through all that pain and anguish.
