So - a week off which I had mentally earmarked for studying, knitting, a possible night with the earwig and other fun but now my MIL has dislocated her hip. She is in hospital in Peterborough at present but it looks like a trip dahn sarf will be required. My FIL (who is late) is sitting in a box in the dining room awaiting repatriation and we are trying to coordinate a trip for 14 of his loved ones to accompany him. Hoping she will be fit for travel at the beginning of April because my annual leave is now set in stone.

There is always food and knitting here if you are passing (except Friday-Sunday, when you will find Ralph and A Woman here instead!)

Date: 2016-02-14 02:13 pm (UTC)Dislocated hip sounds painful. Ouch. May she heal fast, with minimal fuss needed from you. And in time to repatriate (that was the word, yes? Replying on mobile I can't get back to the post to check without losing what I've typed. A bit annoying, but it is a chance to exercise some short term memory...) her late hubby. I had to snigger at your description of your FiL, I imagined home running around in the box, muttering about being late, while checking his pocket watch...
